The CWWA’s Book Club for The Fifth Child

The Contemporary Women’s Writing Association (CWWA) have just started a discussion on Doris Lessing’s The Fifth Child, located in their new book club section. Included is a podcast of the meeting held at Leeds Metropolitan University,  joined by Dr. Susan Watkins.

They have also suggested books to consider in relation to The Fifth Child, and informative resources on Doris Lessing. To help begin thinking about the novel they have provided general discussion points, while also including a more specific provocation by Dr. Susan Watkins which draws on her work with racism in the novel.
